Upgrades to items allow players to boost the gear score of an item to 700, and then add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory before heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For instance an excellently roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade items, and aren't worth the effort.

Weapons
