Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

Components

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it is used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to make stronger versions of the equipment with fewer Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or.
