Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc, and is often offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, based on the type of item upgrader mod.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attribute bonuses while the equipment is being used. The equipment that is upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot that can accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item upgrade to be upgraded to be at the specified level. Some upgrade components also have special effects when applied to an item upgrader mod of equipment. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma traders or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or acquired as rewards in game.

There are a variety of upgrade components available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment, and offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enrichments are used to upgrade certain ascended back items. Inserting an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrader mod (posteezy.Com) will display the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and view these special characters as well as common symbols like em and en dashes as as registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph gives a character boost in their primary stats. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a area is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has been leveled up to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes that are within its range on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they can best benefit your game, which is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus when certain conditions are satisfied.

Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing an account on a different account to increase your chances of getting a character or weapon you want. This can be done to level up faster, or to gain more loot, such as a new weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of its ability. It could be that they like the design or personality of the character.

When you reroll, you have to ensure that the changes you're making are clean. You should test locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev test. You should also upload the patch to an issue with a plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, depending on the luck of the draw. During this time, it is recommended to avoid any optional enemy camps to save time. Additionally it is recommended to not repeat any quests that can be completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

However it's important to remember that not all set items are good candidates for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and do not require upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their stats even more. For these types of items, it may be worth the cost to upp them.
