Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated.

The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you'll need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate item upgrading, and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to obtain the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive an upgraded level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that Best item upgrader and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade items by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
