Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. The game will add an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
