Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to develop certain Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc, and is often offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.

Note that only the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the item level upgrade you are looking for in that each weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be upgraded through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a area is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their performance even more.
