These methods offer many advantages, including the reliability and accessibility of EEG signals. However, these measures have limitations in the sensitivity and precision.

A study conducted by Aalto University researchers analyzed children's eye movements in the game of virtual reality to determine whether a ML algorithm could identify differences between normal and ADHD children. The results demonstrated that a machine learning algorithm can recognize ADHD children.

Another study examined machine learning algorithms' effectiveness. The results revealed that random forest methods have a higher rate for robustness and lower risk prediction errors. A permutation test showed higher accuracy than randomly assigned labels.
