Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item upgrades you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment such as increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item upgrading that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is repeated. This lets you save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. Furthermore players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.

Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
