Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't keep the original level of the item, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item upgrader to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is being rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a full description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item upgrader kit by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item level upgrade, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade items the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the Best item upgrade. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. It's a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will increase by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
