We were capable of testing the EV9 on a local highway for several hours, and found it to be simple to drive and comfortable to drive over long distances. The ride is smooth on bumps and ruts, and the EV9 does a great job of suppressing the sound of traffic and wind on the highway. The acceleration is extremely quick, and the car comes with adjustable regenerative braking to enable "one pedal driving" by simply lifting the accelerator.

The EV9 is extremely reliable and can be fully charged in just three hours at home, or using any commercial charger. The driver can select from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode focuses on the torque as well as cruise control and handling, while sport mode increases speed. Both are a lot of fun to drive and offer a unique driving experience for anyone that has not driven an electric vehicle before.
