We had the chance to test the EV9 for several hours on a local highway and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress wind and road noise while driving along the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration is extremely fast and the car has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one pedal driving" by taking off the accelerator.
The EV9 has a great range and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home or with any commercial charger. Drivers can select between two modes of operation: eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode prioritizes the torque and cruise control, as well as handling while sport mode focuses on speed.
