World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses like PvE damage and crit chance.
For example, a weapon with the upgrade template that is ending in % will suffer 3% attack damage every time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a stat boost or an extra effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using normal methods.
A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.
Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of an item will be available in the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even in the event that they don't know what will be improved following a reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a high chance that the item could become obsolete or even break if it fails; a failure to upgrade can ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also offer the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes within the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible to level 15.
You will often find in the endgame that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes much faster.
Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.
Each Glyph has a certain range of values can enhance a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with another Glyph with the same rank or a higher rank, which will boost the value of the glyph.
Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.
Glyphs increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.
Leveling
The item upgrading system lets players increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each item level requires a different amount of components, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is upgraded.
Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When an individual player upgrades an item, the base item will be replaced by the new Best item upgrade. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item upgrader mod will also come with a bonus of its own. This could be a problem because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not need it.
If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will have the level 1 base, and a totally different set of extra bonuses. This can be useful for some items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it can use up lots of resources.
Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). The item can be upgraded multiple times by increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item can be extremely useful in PvP battles, since the Best item upgrade version of it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.
Requirements
Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapon items will increase the damage base and required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.
All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear which can be upgraded up to eight times. Every time you upgrade an item it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you go beyond the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can result in the item returning to its initial state and the player having to pay for more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.
If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any bonuses it gained, including crit chance and attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or speed of reload). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.
When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is computed each time an upgrade is made.
The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade item.
Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to take every piece of gear they want to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the costs that are listed above.
