EV Star
GreenPower Motor Company makes purpose-built, all-green electric scooter medium and heavy-duty vehicles that are suited to the delivery and cargo market as well as shuttle and transit spaces and school buses. GreenPower's EV Star Cab & Chassis, which is exclusive allows for multiple upgrades and bodies and sets the standards for zero emission people and goods transport. GreenPower also offers low floor electric buses for transit authorities, including a 30ft EV250, 40ft EV350, greenpower scooter (Https://Bbs.pku.edu.cn/) and a double-decker EV550.
The company's current fleet of buses is comprised of six models which share 95% of their parts. They can offer them at a lower price than traditional vehicles. This is especially important because government subsidies are decreasing.
The EV Star Cargo van is the newest member of GreenPower's fleet and was specifically designed for last-mile delivery applications. It's got an adaptable design that is easy to customize. It is also equipped with a variety of accessories to increase functionality.
Its modular interior is able to accommodate different body types and configurations, and it also features a full suite of driver assistance systems. It is charged via AC level-2 It takes about 8 hours to reach 11 kW. DC fast charge takes 2 hours and the power is 61 kW. The vehicle is also fitted with an HVAC system that is vented and ADA securement positions.
In the space of passenger transport GreenPower's EV Star Passenger Van sets the benchmark for performance, safety and sustainability. Based on the EV Star Cab & Chassis, it can be fitted with a variety of upfits and bodies to accommodate different operations and is available in a variety of seating capacities that range from 20 to 50 passengers. Its Altoona score of 92.2 is the highest in its class and it comes with ADA access options.
GreenPower is expanding its production capacity, as the demand for electric vehicles continues to increase. GreenPower is collaborating with Perrone Robotics to integrate Level 5 autonomous driving into the EV Star, which will be the first of its kind to provide this capability. In contrast to the majority of autonomous vehicles in use today, which are converted or upfitted GreenPower's EV Star was created with autonomy in mind from the beginning. Its design is a clean and uncluttered, making it easier to integrate future autonomous technologies for driving. GreenPower's EV Star is available in diesel and battery electric versions, with the latter offering up to 150 miles of range on one charge. It also has a huge payload capacity, which allows it to be used with many different body styles and configurations. This enables it to be customized to suit a variety of uses including paratransit, employee shuttles micro-transit and vanpool service. GreenPower has already begun to produce 10 EV Stars per month, and it plans to increase production when demand increases.
