World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses

The upgrade to an item is an enchantment that boosts the base stats of certain armor or weapons. This includes tertiary statistics like Leech and Speed.

A special evolution item which allows Porygon2 to evolve and become Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.

Universal upgrades are able to be used on any type of gear and offer less benefits than other components that are equipment-type specific to the equipment type.

Leveling

The upgrade system lets players enhance their items by increasing their level. The level increase also improves the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade increases a stat on the item upgrades by +1 and also adds an additional bonus based on the tier of the item. These extras range from a +3 bonus to +1 or random buffs.

Each item can be upgraded for a specific amount of times. After an upgrade, the item can still be upgraded to a better-quality product with the same or greater worth.

This system is useful for players who want to acquire gear with a specific level of stats prior to purchasing an item that is new. The transfer system is simple to use and lets players avoid wasting upgrades materials.

Upgrade materials can be collected by players when they clear content. They can then be used to upgrade or replace an item. Every item requires a distinct type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for instance Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.

It is important to upgrade items in order to improve a character's performance. However it is equally important to think about how much it will cost. Each time an item is upgraded, it costs an amount of gold that could be better used on the purchase of a new piece of equipment. This is why it is best to upgrade only the most essential items in any given situation.

This usually means upgrading the weapon first followed by the legs and chest, then the helm. Upgrade trinkets at this time if the player has the funds to do this. This will increase their proc potential. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading due to the increased damage from its procs. Certain trinkets are not worth upgrading until they provide an upgrade that is significant in the specific build. This is especially the case for breakpoint equipment that is used to boost stats, such as IAS or FHR.

Rerolling

Rerolling is an action that lets players alter the stats of a weapon, armor or ring depending on the type of item upgrader kit. It can be used to add new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also be used to alter the power of the item's base.

While rerolling can be an effective way to increase your power in the beginning phases of the game, it's not a necessary aspect of the game. When you reach your level 6 upgrade goal, it's usually better to take a step back and locate the most powerful upgrades you can or save for the next group of items. This will help you to have an effective team when you achieve your level 9 upgrade goal.

The rerolling system is very like the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove any Level Up option and replace it with another. Reroll tokens, unlike Level Up do not reset an item's level. This means that, if you reroll a upgraded item, it will not be at the same level and not receive the bonus.

Players can also make use of the special mechanic Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is beneficial when you've lost a gacha or you want to reroll an Item Upgrader Mod that has five stars. You'll need to set up your own account or sign up using social media.

Additionally, there's an Occultist in each town that can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is helpful if you have a five-star epic unit that you want to improve or an elite four-star player you're struggling with.

Rerolling tokens are available by completing certain quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons that are dropped in certain dungeons. You can then roll any weapon or armor by moving the icon with the lock on it to the desired slot on your unit's page.

Sets

A set is a set of items that have a certain amount of similarity. Sets are used every day, such as a dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are helpful for organizing things and utilizing operations like intersection, union and differences to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of different ways, ranging from organizing music in a playlist to classifying students by their grades.

In Nioh the game, players use sets to provide special effects for players who wear specific pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses are known as Set Bonuses and are superior to Effects. Although it's not clear in-universe why the armor sets must be worn together in order to create these extra effects, they provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses are available in a variety of locations throughout Hyrule and include the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.

Every piece of equipment in the Set comes with a variety of Set Bonuses that are associated with it. The tooltip on the bottom of the item will tell you what Set Bonuses are available. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box that has a red border.

Some of these Set Bonuses are exclusive to a particular piece of equipment. For instance, if equip the full Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the normal +3 defense included in most equipment). Other sets are available only through specific quests or buying them through the Auction House.

It is also possible to obtain Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. If you own the entire Kestra's Descent Set, and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will be able to get the + version of the set's bonus if you soul match them.

Set Bonuses remain the same, despite the equipment to which they are attached is upgraded. If an item upgrades is exemplared to levels that are too low the set bonus will stop working.

Set bonuses

Set bonuses are special effects which can be found on an item upgrades set, and provide a bonus to the player in combat. They offer a specific percentage of a particular attribute, such as defenses, weapon damage, or resistances. However, they cannot stack; only one can be active at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces in the set. For example you can have three weapons and four chests, but only one of them will be beneficial.

They typically increase the primary stat, but certain bonuses boost secondary stats as well. Defence bonuses increase three defensive positions and two defense types as an example, a full five piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to around 400 defenses in your equipment. This is a large increase in your gear, particularly as a melee character.

This is a great feature and one of the most popular in the game. Currently, only a few gear sets come with set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update goes live. The bonus will be added to the 7 school-specific Dragoons gear, as an example.

While Set Bonuses do not stack within sets, they do stack between sets. This is ideal for players that want to use the most effective combination of sets. However, it requires a bit of planning. As set bonuses only affect the shell of an equipment (not the armoring, mod or the enhancement) It is important to be careful with your placements.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that the strength of a set's bonus does not change if you exemplar more than three levels below the minimum levels that are allowed for an Enhancement of this type. Purple (Very Rare) Sets, PvP sets and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this requirement, and their set bonuses work regardless of the degree of exemplars for an item.
