WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the Best item upgrader level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.
The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll an exact version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.
The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade items your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.
The cost of upgrades will be based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item upgrader kit will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of The button will display a preview of an item's next level of upgrade, in the event that there are enough materials.
Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current item level. For instance weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give a discount on the Flightstones.
