WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the necessity to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks, to keep your equipment up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item upgrades level of the item being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For instance upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other accessories. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool with a The button will show the item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item upgrader mod and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades give a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Many locations offer item upgrader kit level upgrade [Selfless.wiki] upgraders in addition to the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and the possibility of getting the latest recipe. The upgrade discount increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items available at the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only available through a variety means. This is both a benefit and an issue.

In Season 3, a number of new features were added to the upgrade system. After an upgrade has been completed to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item upgrader kit level will cost less. This applies even if those items are from a different set of equipment.

The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is available across all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut as well, but is only available after certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading gear in WoW players have a few choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specialized, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

First, you must be aware that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is of a particular rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and easiest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade can require up to 20 crests, based on the kind of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing content at the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and performing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of all difficulty for items of higher tier, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The use of these currencies isn't that difficult however, the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. Once a piece of gear has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance it's best to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to create. This is particularly true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
