Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item upgrade and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you'll need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want burden their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be applied and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. When the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old Upgrade Item.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the required requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrader.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
