Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item upgrader mod's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to acquire them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade items trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can place an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. Likewise, once an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade item (check out this blog post via Posteezy) items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
