The Baby Trend Expedition
This jogger was made with safety, style and ease of use as its main priorities. It has a tray for parents that has 2 cup holders and covered storage, and a child tray that is able to swing away and includes two cup holders. The lockable front wheel can be removed while strolling, and locked for running. The large storage basket is perfect to store the essential travel items.
In the Strollers test program from Consumer Reports, the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is a good performer in general for the price and gets higher marks over its rivals in various categories. The 5-point harness that folds, unfolds, adjusting backrest, engaging wheel brakes, and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's designed to have an easy recline with one hand, which is deep enough for naps. However the canopy cover, which ratchets, can be difficult to secure. It takes around 8 minutes to set it up. The instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed together and difficult-to-understand drawings.
The only drawback to this stroller is that it doesn't have suspension, which means the ride could be more bumpy than other strollers that we've tested. This could make it more uncomfortable for children, particularly if they are on the close to napping. The air-filled wheels are great, however they don't offer as much cushioning as rubber tires found on strollers that are more expensive.
This is a great choice for those who don't run often, but still need to be able to easily move across grass or gravel without having to worry about curbs or other obstacles. It's also a great option for families with limited space as it folds into the size of a compact unit. It's lighter than many of the other joggers we've tested and fits into places that other strollers can't.
Another benefit is that it's much easier to carry and lift than the larger Joggers we've tested. This is especially crucial if you need to lift it into and out of the trunk of your vehicle on a regular basis or if you're always traveling.
