WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader kit Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item level upgrade by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the item being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item upgrading from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool using a The button will show a preview of an item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the item slot, and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain level and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currencies.

Many locations offer item upgrader kit upgraders, including the main Island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The discount for upgrading increases as more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no item upgrader available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are only accessible via a variety of ways. This is both a positive and a disadvantage.

In Season 3, a number of new features have been added to the upgrade system. After a player has upgraded to a certain level of item for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is true even if those items are from a different set of gear.

The discount is applicable to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is cut also, but is only available once certain milestones are achieved.

Crests

Players have several options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item upgrader mod level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.

The first thing to note is that crests are only able to be used on gear of a specific rank, and that each rank has its own requirements for its upgrade path. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complex can require as much as 20 crests depending on the type of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and performing outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulties for higher-tier items, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and pathways.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it does bring some changes to the upgrade process. When a piece of equipment attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This is to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

Another important change is that crests have one use, so it's important to use them properly. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you have available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning to create. This is especially applicable to rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to benefit from the account-wide discount if all slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
