Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. It's a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded Best item upgrade to an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the Best item upgrader an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items - head to the szw0.com site - can be used to make set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item level upgrade. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) the level of the item upgrader mod as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
