Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Best item upgrade upgrades are upgrade components that can be slotted into weapons, armor and trinkets to offer an added benefit. They are generally more expensive and require the item be of the appropriate rank.
Items with very high requirements typically don't see much value in being upgraded. This is especially true for items like the eth Titans, which do not have a lot of variation.
Glyphs
After reaching level 50 the action-RPG Blizzard's changes from its simplified campaign to the endgame. The game's mechanics start to change, as players are forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds to ensure that their class build is as strong as it can be.
Glyphs play a key role in this development. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph increases its stat attributes and the radius of its effect on the Paragon Board. There are several methods to obtain these upgrades, however most players will find themselves relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs lets you insert symbols into your text. You can choose them from the menu to the left side of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs that are based on the font in which your cursor is currently located. You can change the font or style, and narrow down the list to only include punctuation symbols using the option below Entire Font. By moving your pointer over any glyph, you'll be able to find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your last 35 glyphs and show them under Recently Used in the first row (you have to expand the panel to ensure you can see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by pressing it using the right-click or Control-click and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also allows you to design a custom set of glyphs. This could be helpful if you often need to type certain types of text. This will help you save the time of manually inserting each glyph when you require it.
A custom glyph can have the maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_) and other glyphs. The suffix can also include ligatures, or contextual alternates. These are special versions that combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the primary mechanic that gives extra bonuses to items, like extra stats. Upgrades are available in three different types: rerolling, leveling up and recycling. Each upgrade type comes with a unique bonus on an item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change an item's base power and number of upgrades, and can also be used to reroll substats in ring. This is beneficial if a player wants to upgrade an item but the "potential" potential power of that item upgrader mod isn't what they want. Or if their substats of the item aren't what they want to be.
Rerolling an Best item upgrade is costing 1 token. It resets the upgrades, however it will keep the rarity, set, and level unaffected. When an item is leveled up, its tier will increase. The primary stat of the item is boosted by 3 points for each tier. A random extra stat is also boosted with it. The rank of an item rises by 1 each time you level an item to the highest achievable level.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new Appliances, Ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are available at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and every category of upgradeable Best item upgrade displays an icon that is distinct from the others:
Certain recipes require the use of certain ingredients or appliances, and these are available by selecting the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, which means that they won't be sold in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a higher likelihood of appearing if an appropriate franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all items will remain for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. This is because the majority of products that are recycled go back to the manufacturer of the original to be remanufactured into a new product. We refer to this as "closing of the recycling loop."
When a person puts something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. From there it can be sold to manufacturers of end-users to be remade into something brand new. Remade products include:
This reduces the necessity to harvest, grow or extract raw materials in order to make something else. This reduces the damage caused to nature; fewer trees are chopped down and rivers are diverted and wild animals are displaced. This also reduces pollution by the dumping of raw materials into our soil, water and air.
Purchasing recycled products helps keep local businesses and jobs thriving particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. Demand for recycled products encourages businesses to participate in this environmentally friendly effort.
The final reason to buy recycled items is that it requires less energy to produce new products from recycled materials than to create them from raw materials. The manufacturing process for the new aluminum container requires 95% more energy than the manufacturing of a can made from recycled materials. Every little part is important.
Leveling
Most units are able to increase their level, giving them more XP each time they fight or are attacked. This XP can be used to unlock upgrades or increase the stats of the unit. Weapons are a good example of this, since they can be leveled up to increase their damage and range.
Most leveling systems require a specific amount of levels to be completed however this can vary from game to game. The use of materials or coins is the only method to level up. The majority of systems use both to increase an Best item upgrade's level, but a few only employ one or the other.
In many games, leveling can be problematic because it makes certain units too powerful while other units aren't able to compete. It is better to limit the amount of leveling a player can perform, requiring players to make a decision about what they want to upgrade and the reasons behind it.
