Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the Best item upgrader an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the kind of item upgrader, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item level upgrade the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
