1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest of the Baby Jogger range. It's designed for travel and easily fits through normal doors thanks to its slim design, it's also one of the most light double buggies available on the market weighing just 14lb when folded. It's ideal for travel with a newborn and toddler as you won’t exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It also folds to the size of a bag for travel so that you can put it away in the back of your car when not when you're not using it.
The one-handed, Z-shape folding is a breeze and is extremely compact once you've mastered it. It can take a couple of only a few seconds to unfold. Our tester found the auto lock somewhat difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock in its position when you push it to the side, it struck her leg when she used it. She also felt the handlebar was a bit too short and especially with the large changing bag hanging off of it.
This double stroller is not as light as other buggies. It comes with a wide range of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), features multiple recline positions as well as an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add an additional bassinet to either or both seats to create an ideal travel system.
The four wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain, but they're not built for off-roading. They slid on gravel and long grass, and there isn't much space between the bracket and the wheel, so mud got stuck easily. That being said, our tester still loved the buggy and did climb some pretty muddy hills.

They also appreciated the fact that the hoods could be moved back and forward and back, making them much easier to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. They didn't provide the same coverage as Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an extra rain cover in case.
Overall, our test participants loved the way the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla on all sorts of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park for a quick playdate. They were also amazed by how cosy and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of space for growing toddlers to stretch out in.
