World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They are available through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When the weapon is upgraded it will gain a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and that it meets certain specifications. Once a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded however the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item level upgrade it self.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier the process can be repeated up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. All of these upgrades can be used simultaneously, and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
Generally, it is recommended to upgrade items weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats that are required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, as this helps maximise DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of specific weapons, armors trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, such as more damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. However, certain upgrade components can give significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
In addition to increasing the defense of an Best Item upgrade, a few upgrades also give special abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide effect that are passive and can be useful like decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Based on the type of armor, upgrading an item level upgrade could require multiple tries. For instance for instance, if a player wants to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor with a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so, they must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant boost to the reduction of the damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very useful for certain types of builds. There are other methods to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another tier of potion effects, and can be repeated for more potencies.
The potion also gets a custom color code that the player can pick by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a brand new texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion to the Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Problems related to this update are tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a small flag that is used to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also refer to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more prevalent. At the moment, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor an X% chance of having an ebony mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic from this enchanted scepter seems to be affecting the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to produce water and grass. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to aid in the elimination of hazards rooms.
Although it appears to be an ordinary eye of a newt, this mysterious object appears to affect your vision in ways beyond merely reducing your field of view. At the moment, this trinket can increase the total health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have a random effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as often as you'd like but it will always have the same effect.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
