World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is a crucial element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Every item upgrader recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects, while others offer additional benefits. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it is able to be upgraded with a different one, but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item upgrading the item upgrader kit.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached max upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
In general, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be extremely efficient in increasing the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, for example, additional damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most of the time an Best item upgrader of armor will be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. Most armor types can be upgraded, however some items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades offer some improvement to an item's base defense or strength. Certain upgrades, however, can lead to significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the defense of an Best item upgrade, certain upgrades also provide specific abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For example they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial, such as decreasing damage when wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item may require several tries. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant boost to the reduction of damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them useful for certain builds. There are also ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to lower total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in the stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effect and can be repeated to get higher levels of potency.
The potion also gets an individual color code, which the player can choose by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a different texture when they are brewed. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared with splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion which has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Issues relating to this update are tracked on the Bug Tracker.
