best robot vacuum and mop (look at here) Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle different floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums that mop vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills the water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as needed.
This robot vacuum best combination is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled when needed. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a thick distance around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning robot mop and vacuum tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings and view 2D and 3-D maps. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they can't reach every speck of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners and on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't clean up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. It also collects more dust in a larger bin, so you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot vacuums that mop is able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
