World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The upgrade of an item upgrader mod allows players to increase the gear score of an item upgrader to 700 and also add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For example an excellently rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't really change after an upgrade and aren't worth the effort.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats like crit chance, attack damage as well as PvE and PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. Additionally, many weapons have a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon are present on a unit. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain by itself.
The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity as well as its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the weapon will continue to increase until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.
Upgrades to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. This is usually a positive thing, but it can also have negative effects. Upgrades can make items unusable, unless you are extremely lucky.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their effectiveness. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms, this will increase the defense of its base, while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor offers a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it can sometimes reduce its value.
The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, as well as the relative values of those stats. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will hit for 3 times less often because it's an absolute statistic.
Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button in the item menu with the arrows that are circling. This will roll an item level upgrade and change its statistics, but not reset the weapon's levels, or tie it to the account status.
Armor
Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make huge differences in your ability to survive. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, making the journey through difficult terrain a breeze. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has, the more value you get from every point of health, so it's important to upgrade your armor as often as you can.
To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all and each one requires you to complete a specific side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of materials and Rupees required to complete each will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anywhere between three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to remain competitive in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you're able to survive a battle with your friends.
It isn't possible to upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or the power of spells. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing by the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer However, it is useful to have some improvements to the helmets and chest armor that let you stealthy battle certain monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the player, provide an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five different types of potions, each having a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. In addition, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust them.
Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by making them using a craft table or the chest of the Alchemist. However, the cost of upgrading changes depending on what type of potion you'd like to upgrade, and also on the item upgrader mod's Mark Level and rarity.
To upgrade a potion simply right-click on it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI in which you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll yield when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not be degraded until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change its name.
There were a few changes to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance, now have a duration zero, not the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item upgrader mod. The potion table is now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players in Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Additionally, using a potentio in a cauldron that is full drains the contents and refills the bottle.
In addition, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to lingering potions to extend their effects. The potion table has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added like the potion of leaping and decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a tiny and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to a small ornament or object that has a purpose but isn't essential, like a thimble. In some cultures, a trinket is a way to express affection or friendship between family members.
In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Unlike other item upgrades, what do you think, trinkets are able to be exchanged at will without losing their status.
Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new trinket. One can upgrade their trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as older one, and come with an additional upgrade bonus of 1.
When the old Trinkets are no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase their power and value with time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.
In general players should upgrade their highest priority items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment that won't be replacing anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player then they should consider upgrading their helm, chest and shoulders.
Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional upgrade bonus of 1. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, however it is still cheaper than purchasing the new one.
