WoW Upgrades - The Best item upgrader Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item, but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. For example upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items which can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to Best item upgrade owners for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool using an button, which displays an Item Level Upgrade's preview when it is upgraded if the player has sufficient materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the item slot, and the current Best item upgrader level. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. After an item upgrade has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Upgraders for items are available in many places on the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and a chance to obtain a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases with the number of items that are being upgraded, and can be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or complete quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades are acquired via various methods, which is both an improvement as well as a disadvantage.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. After a player has earned an upgrade to a particular level of an item for a specific armor slot, upgrading other items to that same item level will cost less even if they belong to a different gear set.

The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade is reduced and the discount is account-wide. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also reduced and is not available until players achieve certain milestones in their achievement.

Crests

Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more special and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to be aware of is that crests are only able to be spent on gear of a specific rank, and that every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade route costs 15 crests while the most complicated requires as many as 20 crests, based on the type of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons with all difficulty for items of higher tier, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it brings some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance it's a good idea use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available and save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan on making. This is particularly relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy multiple slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
