EV Star

GreenPower Motor Company builds purpose-built, all electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles for the delivery and cargo markets as well as shuttle and transit spaces and school busses. GreenPower's exclusive EV Star Cab and Chassis allows for multiple upfits or bodies, and sets the standard for zero-emission transport of people and goods. GreenPower also provides low-floor electric wheel scooter buses for transit authorities, such as a 30ft EV250, 40ft EV350 and a double decker EV550.

The firm's current fleet of buses is comprised of six models which comprise 95% of their components. They can offer them at less than traditional vehicles. This is crucial because government subsidies are decreasing.

The EV Star Cargo van is the newest GreenPower fleet member. It was designed specifically for last-mile delivery applications. It features a flexible design that is easy to modify and is equipped with a wide range of accessories for increased functionality.

Its modular interior can accommodate various configurations and body types It also comes with the full suite of driver assistance systems. When charged using AC level-2 It takes about 8 hours to attain 11 kW. DC rapid charge takes between 2 hours and 61 kW. The vehicle also has a vented HVAC and ADA securement.

GreenPower is expanding its production capacity, as the demand for electric vehicles continues to increase. GreenPower is working with Perrone Robotics to integrate Level 5 autonomous driving into the EV Star, which will be the first of its kind to provide this feature. Contrary to most autonomous vehicles in use today, which are upgraded or converted, GreenPower's EV Star was created with autonomy in mind from the ground up. Its design is a clear base, which makes it easier to incorporate future autonomous technologies for driving. GreenPower's EV Star is available in diesel and battery electric versions and the latter offers up to 150 miles of range on a single charge. It also has a huge payload capacity that can accommodate many different body styles and configurations.
