WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader
Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.
Upgraded gear generally sees more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.
You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.
Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level, however they'll always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item level upgrade; https://ai-db.science, will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are functional items which can be used to upgrade items weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners in a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade item is able to be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. The button will display the item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.
Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currency types.
Item upgraders can be found at many locations, including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and the chance to obtain a new recipe. The upgrade discount increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at the beginning unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are available only through a variety of methods. This is both a positive and a drawback.
In Season 3 the upgrade system was modified a bit, and some new features added. When a player has an upgrade to a particular level of an item for a specific armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level will be less expensive, even in the event that they belong to another set of gear.
The discount is applicable to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain achievement milestones.
Crests
Players have several choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.
The first thing to note is that crests are only able to be spent on equipment of a particular rank, and that each rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, based on the type of gear being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by finishing content at the appropriate level. This could be done by doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulty levels to obtain lower-tier gear or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons that have a high difficulty to obtain endgame gear. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader for the item such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and pathways.
Utilizing these new currencies isn't that difficult however, the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, when an item is at the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is designed to allow players to get their gear up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose. For instance it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the best gear you have available and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning on making. This is particularly applicable to items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount for the entire account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
