Armour
Link's armor is a key element to protect him from harm. While it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, it is possible to enhance its defence capabilities in various ways.
Armour is designed to shield people or animals from injury or harm, whether it's from a direct physical attack or a variety of environmental or activity hazards. In the past, armour was primarily constructed from leather or fabric but later, protections made of metal were also utilized particularly in military applications like heavy cavalry or combat drones.
There are a variety of ways to upgrade armour, however, the majority require you to visit one of four Great Fairy Fountains scattered throughout Hyrule. Each fountain offers a different degree of improvement, with higher levels of protection that require more rupees as well as materials.
First, Armor Upgrades are permanent upgrades. Once they've been installed they aren't able to be removed until you own a different piece of equipment that has the same upgrade. They could appear randomly, but there is a chance that obtaining certain upgrades can trigger a quest that will reward you with even more.
It's important to note that even though the amount that upgrades offer may differ however, it will always be more than zero. Weapons

These upgrades can increase the damage or alter the performance of the weapon to match your particular build. They can also unlock new attachments, such as unique enchantments, various types of ammo, and aesthetic options.
You'll require both the upgrade component and the weapon itself to upgrade it. The weapon should also be at a certain level for the upgrade to take effect and most weapons can only accept one upgrade at a time.
There are weapon upgrade components scattered around the globe and even from enemies and can be purchased from merchants. The upgrade components themselves are a mix of components that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or additional effect when they are in use. The equipment must be a certain level to accept the upgrade. It can be upgraded the same way as other items.

The same principles apply to Magic and Utility Items, with the caveat that certain products may be superior to others based on the style of play you prefer. The same is true for Armour and reforges, with some being superior to others.
