WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher item upgrading level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every few weeks, to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current level of the item being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from Item Level Upgrade (Images.Google.Com.Sv) upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will show a preview of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the item upgrader mod slot and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

Many locations offer item upgraders which include the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II, there is no upgrader for items available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are available only via a variety of ways. This is both a benefit and a drawback.

In Season 3, the upgrade system has been modified a bit, and some new features added. Once an upgrade has been completed to a specific level for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same item level will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items are from another set of gear.

The discount applies to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is reduced also, but is only available once certain milestones are reached.

Crests

Players have a number of choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an item upgrading that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more special and are used for specific item upgrades level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.

First, you should know that Crests are only available to equipment that is of a certain rank. Each rank comes with distinct upgrade paths. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complicated can require as much as 20 crests, based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulties to get lower-tier gear or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons with a heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. The crests can then be exchanged with an upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it does bring some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once an item is at the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to get their equipment to the highest ilvl possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests in a wise manner, as they have only one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea use all of your Whelpling-rank crests with the Best item upgrade gear you have available and save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to create. This is especially applicable to rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all of the slots are filled with top-quality gear.
