WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades will give you a an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.
Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as valuable for those with higher variance due to the need to roll an exact version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.
Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. For instance, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item from another player will costs 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will display an image of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.
Upgrade costs differ based on the item slot, and the current level of the item. For instance, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item upgrading has been upgraded to a certain level, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.
Upgraders for items are available in a variety of locations, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount and a chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades require several methods which is both an improvement and a drawback.
In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade item system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a specific level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading other items to that level will cost less, even if they are part of an entirely different set of gear.
The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players achieve certain achievement milestones.
Crests
Players have a variety of options when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.
First, you should know that Crests are only available to equipment that is of a particular rank. Each rank has distinct upgrade paths. The simplest and simplest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade requires up to 20 crests, based on the kind of gear being upgraded.
Players can earn crests through working through content at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities, or by doing dungeons or raids in any difficulty to earn equipment of lower tier or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons with heroic difficulty for endgame gear. The crests can then be exchanged with an upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item upgrader kit level Upgrade - www.google.ci, in the proper steps and paths.
The use of these currencies isn't that difficult however, the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. When a piece of equipment has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible level for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.
Another important change is that crests only have one usage, so it's important to use them wisely. For instance it's a good idea to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the best equipment you have and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to create. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
