item upgrade upgrades are upgrade elements that can be slotted into armor, weapons or trinkets to provide a bonus. They usually come at a higher cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.
Upgrades are not usually worth it for items with high requirements. This is especially relevant for items such as the eth Titans, which don't have a lot variance.
Glyphs
After reaching level 50, Blizzard’s action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign to the final game. After reaching level 50, Diablo 4's action-RPG changes from its simplified campaign to the final.
Glyphs play an important part in this process. The higher the Glyph's upgrade levels increases its stat attributes and the radius of its effect on the Paragon Board. There are several ways to get these upgrades, but the most common is by raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs lets you insert symbols into your text. You can select them from the menu at the left-hand side of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs based on the font that your cursor is located. You can change the font or typestyle and narrow down the list to only include punctuation symbols by selecting an option under Entire Font. You can check the CID/GID value and Unicode value of any glyph by moving the pointer.
The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your last 35 glyphs and show them under Recently Used in the first row (you must expand the panel to ensure you can see all 35). You can also remove them from this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking on a glyph in the list and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also lets you to create a custom set of glyphs, which is useful if frequently need to type certain types of text. This will prevent you from having to manually insert every glyph every time you need it.
A custom glyph can be made up of a maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) and lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_), and other glyphs. The glyphs that make up the suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternates which are variants that combine two or more characters into a single, visually unified glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanics that give additional bonuses to items, like stats. They come in different types: reroll or level up, as well as recycle. Each type provides a different set of bonuses that are added to an item.
Reroll Tokens can be used to alter an Best item upgrade's base stats and upgrade numbers. They can also be used to reroll substats for rings. This is helpful when a player wishes to upgrade an Best Item Upgrade, but the "potential" power of that item isn't what they want. Or, if their item's substats aren't optimal.
Rerolling costs 1 token and resets all upgrades on an item but will leave the set, rarity, and level intact. Leveling an item upgrader kit up increases its tier and with each tier, the main stat is boosted by +3, while a random extra stat is boosted alongside it. When an item upgrader kit is leveled to its max possible level increases its tier by 1.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients, and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints appear in envelopes at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened by using Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and every category of upgradeable items has each with a distinct icon:
Some recipes require the use of certain ingredients or appliances, and these can be obtained by choosing a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered staple, which means that they are not available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a greater chance of appearing if a specific Franchise Card is chosen from the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all items will remain for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic happens. You can help the environment by recycling a product made of recycled materials. Most recycled items are returned to their original manufacturer to be remanufactured as an entirely new product. We refer to this as "closing of the recycling loop."
When a person places something into their recycling bin at the curb it is taken to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it is separated and sorted into its various components. Then, it gets sold on to manufacturers who will then re-make the product. Remade products include:
This process reduces the necessity to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something else. In turn, this decreases the amount of harm that is caused to the natural world and less trees are removed, rivers diverted and wild animals displaced. This also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumping of raw materials into our soil, water and the air.
Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs alive particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. The demand for recycled items makes companies more inclined to take part in this environmentally friendly effort.
The last reason to purchase recycled is that it takes less energy to produce new products using recycled materials than to create them from raw materials. This is because the production process of making a new aluminum can takes 95 percent more energy than manufacturing of an identical aluminum can from recycled material. This is why every little bit counts.
Leveling
Most units are able to level-up, giving them extra XP each time they attack or get attacked. This XP is used to unlock upgrades or increase the main stats of the unit. Weapons are a good example of this, since they can be leveled up to increase their damage and range.
Most leveling systems require a specific number of levels to be reached but this may differ from game to game. The use of materials or coins is the only method to level up. The majority of systems employ both to boost the level of an item, however some only make use of one or the other.
In many games, leveling is problematic because it makes certain units too powerful and other units are unable be competitive. It is better to limit the amount of leveling a player can achieve, and require them to make a choice about what they want to upgrade and why.
