Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens

Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded.
