World of Warcraft - item upgrader mod Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to boost the gear score of an Best item upgrader to 700, and then add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded for their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons do not change significantly after an upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a unit. This bonus can sometimes exceed the damage that a weapon upgrade alone can cause.
The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For example, an +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.
Upgrades to weapons will also alter the stats of their base. This is usually a good factor, but it could also have negative effects. For items that only see use in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them could render them useless unless you get a lucky roll.
Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their performance. This can increase the defense of a chest or helm while belts and gloves will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also has a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may roll back to a lower number.
The upgrade template for a weapon displays the new stats it will gain when upgraded in addition to their relative values. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in a weapon receiving 33% attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will be hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button on the item upgrade menu with the arrows that circle. This will roll the item upgrader mod and alter its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level nor bind to account status.
Armor
A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survival. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, making traversing tough areas a breeze. In general, the greater defense your character is, the more value you will get from every point of health you possess therefore it is important to improve your armor as much as possible.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game, and to unlock them all, you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the corresponding fountain and then you can talk to any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.
The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold climates and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to survive the full-on assault with a handful of friends.
Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll have to work on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use to fight the final boss and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. Generally, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have a few improvements to the chest armor and helmets that let you stealthy battle certain monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, give the player with a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five different types of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a craft table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the upgrade price will vary based on the type of potion you want to upgrade, and also on the item upgrader mod's Mark Level and rarity.
To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potion you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will offer when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not be degraded until you re-use it, or break the bottle it is stored in. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking it in your inventory.
There were a few changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For instance the splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item). The table for potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion in a cauldron that is full drains the potion and replenishes the bottle.
Lastly, there are now lingering potions, which are made using splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potions has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, like the potion of leaping and decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that has a purpose but isn't important, like a thimble. In some cultures, a trinket is used to express friendship or affection between family members.
Players can upgrade trinkets in addition to weapons or armor, as well as potions. They can be upgraded by visiting an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. As with other upgrades to items trinkets are able to be traded out at any time without losing their status.
Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.
Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to purchasing a new trinket. It is possible to upgrade a player for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the previous trinket but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.
Trinkets can be upgraded once they're not needed which allows a player to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.
Players should upgrade their most important items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, followed by their secondaries and then other pieces of gear that they won't replace in the near future (for instance an earring or cloak). When deciding which items to upgrade players must also be aware of their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.
Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket comes with an additional 1percent bonus. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it is salvaged with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying new ones.
