WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. The Best item upgrader used to upgrade the item upgrading will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current item upgrader mod level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. For example upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapon, armor, tool and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with a button, which will show an item upgrading's preview at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an item level upgrade (www.youtube.com) has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Many locations offer item upgraders which include the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount as well as a chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded, and can be boosted by requiring players to complete specific achievements or complete quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that can be used to upgrade require a variety of means which is both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3 the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with some new features added. After the player has upgraded to a specific level for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same level will cost less. This is true even if those items come from another set of equipment.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is reduced as well, but is only available once certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading gear in WoW, players have a couple of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.

First, you should know that Crests are only available to equipment that is with a certain rank. Each rank has distinct upgrade paths. The simplest and most straightforward upgrade route costs 15 crests while the more complex one can require as much as 20 crests depending on the kind of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through working through content at the appropriate level. This could be done by doing outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons with a heroic difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.

Utilizing these new currencies isn't too difficult, but the system does introduce some changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, when an item reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is designed to allow players to get their equipment to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests with care, since they are only used for one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan to create. This is particularly relevant for rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, that will be able to avail the account-wide discount if all of the slots are filled with top-quality gear.
