We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for several hours on a local freeway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The ride is smooth and smooth over bumps and ruts, while the EV9 does an excellent job of reducing road noise and wind on the highway. The acceleration is surprisingly quick, and the car comes with adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by simply lifting the accelerator.
