Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for another of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item upgrading to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first identify the appropriate item upgrader, and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item upgrading. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item level upgrade an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can place an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. Also, when an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade item components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade item "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far to finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
