World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
item level upgrade upgrading allows players to boost the gear score of an item to 700, and then add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like an ideally broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while others like weapons don't change much post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Some weapons also come with an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a group. This bonus can sometimes be more than the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.
A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade item a weapon will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also alter the stats of their base. While this is generally beneficial however, it could have negative consequences too. Upgrades can make things impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.
Armor items can also be upgraded to boost their performance. This can boost the defense of a chest or helm, while belts and gloves can boost their strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it may reduce its value.
The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their relative values. This means that a change from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in a weapon receiving 33% attack damage. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will be hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button with arrows that circle in the menu for items. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats but not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make all the difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which can make it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the greater defense your character has, the more value you can get from each point of health you have, so it's important to improve your armor as often as you can.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and in order to unlock each fountain, you must complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the fountain in question you'll be able to speak to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrade menu.
The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. You'll require anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to an increase of 5 defense rating, which allows you to remain competitive in cold environments with a lot of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to withstand a rout with your friends.
You can't upgrade your armor like weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is Best item upgrade to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use to fight the final boss and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock some perks on your armor. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades to the weapon you'll be using to beat the game. For instance the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have a few upgrades to the chest armor and helmets to let you escape some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions, each with a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, enhancing their level of effect. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.
Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by making them using a craft table or in an Alchemist's chest. However, the cost of upgrading changes depending on what type of potion you'd like to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and Rarity.
To upgrade items a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI that lets you select the potions that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll offer when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.
Once a potion is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you take it out again or break the bottle within which it is kept. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.
Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the way potions are used. For example splash potions now have the duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item). The potion table is now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can now be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be combined in cauldrons. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron drains the potion and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The table of potions is laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping and the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket is an ornamental item that is small, cheap or piece jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose, but isn't essential such as a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket is used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players as well as weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other Best item upgrader upgrades (Larsbo website) trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their status.
The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and the capital of each zone, as well as in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.
The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying a new one. It can be done by the player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base level as the old trinket, but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
When the old Trinkets are no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value with time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.
In general players should make upgrades to their most important items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, then their secondaries and then other pieces of gear that they won't replace soon (for example, a ring or cloak). When deciding which items to upgrade players should take into account the preferred statistics of their class. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers it is recommended that they upgrade their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and chest.
Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they are no longer useful and the new trinket will receive an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade is likely to ruin the previous trinket until it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying a new one.
