Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next Success result is repeated. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After selecting the best item upgrade to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one Best item upgrader at a time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can add an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will have discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
item upgrading upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and a number Upgrade Tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item upgrader mod. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item upgrader in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
