Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for a different one similar item upgrader mod and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment using three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade item takes an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the Best item upgrader's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to get them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item upgrades at one time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be used in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the level of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
