Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile, multi-purpose stroller. It can be converted from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or a glider board. It can also be configured to create a triple-travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the most highly rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It has a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as a belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a medium-sized shade and an e-snap-aboo window that is simple to close or open. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and works well for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there's a footwell adjuster button to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is large however we would prefer it had a latch that is more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers to be a bit difficult to use since they have to be completely undone and refastened for each use.
Like its counterparts like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is an improvement over the toe-pinch levers that many of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or parents with just one child and a new baby on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families that already have car seats, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller in this instance.
