Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be transformed from a single stroller into double strollers by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or a glider board. It can also be set up to become a triple travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It offers 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger's soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and have a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to position your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of room, but we would have liked to have a more secure latch. It's easy to reach, but we discovered the zippers to be a little frustrating since they have to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release using the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and a significant improvement over the toe-pinch lever that some of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've tested that can take two infant seats. It's a great option for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used to fit the majority of infant car seats made by major brands with an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and three wheel pushchairs Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families that already have a car seat and need a stroller to accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat in this case.
