Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double buggy 3 wheels stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be configured to create a triple-travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the most highly rated stroller. This model is made with Baby Jogger's soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the industry-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is also lighter.
It comes with a medium-sized shade as well as a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to open or close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and there is a footwell adjuster to help you place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have preferred a more secure latch. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be annoying because they need to be removed and then refastened after each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and a step up from the clunky brake levers other brands use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that accepts two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with a single child and a baby coming soon. It can be used with the majority of major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families that already have a car seat and need an appropriate stroller, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that fits an additional infant car seat in this instance.
