The best automatic vacuum Robot Hoover
The best robot vacuum can vacuum and mop your floors without your involvement. It also leaves the floors spotless. Its price is affordable and its high-end features (such as dirt detector) are positives.
Be sure to inspect your robot's brushes for hair tangled as well as large debris and wash them if required. Some models will also empty the onboard dustbin and deposit it in an additional bin at the base. This reduces the amount fine dust that is released into the air.
1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've tested. They have motors that are top of the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. As with other top iRobot models (including the top-rated model) they utilize smart mapping technology to create detailed floor plans that avoid common obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also have carpet boost, a feature that increases the robot's power when it sees a lot of dirt on the carpet, allowing it clean quickly.
The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored very well in our tests on bare floors They are also adept at cleaning hair from dogs. There are some issues, however, that prevent them from being our first option. For instance, the Q5's navigation system does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance, so it's prone to get caught up in shoes and socks and can't navigate tightly packed rooms very efficiently in our tests. It also doesn't come with an image sensor that lets it see the corners of a room.
It's still a great deal particularly if your office or home has a lot of bare floors and you want to save some money. It's also very quiet and works when you're at work or in school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping. It is dependent on disposable wet wipes that don't stick well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. If you're in need of it mop, the mopping pad can be swapped for a wet one in seconds.
2. IRobot Roomba
The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact sleek and stylish vacuum cleaner that can also sweep floors. Its nimble navigation and intelligent cleaning maps make it simple to clean and effective at taking on larger particles, such as pet hair. It also comes with a powerful suction and an automatic bin for emptying. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets, but it's not as good as other hoovers in terms of deep cleaning.

You can change its cleaning schedule and customize zones through the well-designed app. It has a battery lifespan that is comparable to other models.
You can instruct the X30 Ultra to remove its mop and extend them when in a room with carpet, which helps prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm is ideal for getting under furniture that is low and along baseboards. It's not as effective on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.
During testing during testing, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop that could complete the entire house with 66 percent of its battery left. It did a decent cleaning job on a variety of rooms and floors with various kinds of flooring, including certain area rugs. Its obstacle detection was top-of-the-line, and it nimbly avoided fake dog socks, turds and cables.
It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but offers superior suction and an onboard bin that automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It even cleans the floor after vacuuming, a feature that hasn't been seen in other best robot vacuum that mops vacuum/mop combinations.
3. Roomba X40 from iRobot
With an elegant, circular design that looks more like a normal Roomba rather than the compact models this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most appealing looking in our tests. The newest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent, with advanced features including enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads).
It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that scored an exemplary 10/10 in our tests thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, which include a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could fill and empty its basestation in a self-contained manner. It also boasted an industry-leading suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mop mops.
The X40 is, like the other iRobot products, is simple to use. It comes with a simple mobile app interface that is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that it's loud that could be problematic if you run it in the morning before work or in the evening as you attempt to sleep.
It's also somewhat expensive, but it's not as pricey as the Ecovacs Omni or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Both of which are equally powerful and look better. This is a two-in-one vacuum that's very capable, but it's more expensive and make more noise.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range best robot vacuum vacuum and mop with a lot of advanced features to help you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that can take charge of both vacuuming and mopping, with a multi-function dock that automatically empties the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank, and washes and dries its mop pads.
The smart robot uses the combination of LIDAR and structured light to draw out floor plans and identify obstacles, navigating more intelligently than its top competitors. It also has a camera mounted on the front to detect hazards in real-time however, it wasn't reliable in our tests and was often confused by power cords or other obstructions.
Its vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also comes with an attribute known as "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the power of the vacuum and adjusts cleaning frequency for various areas of the home based on how dirty the areas tend to be.
If you have a bigger home, it is worth choosing a model that has zones or spot cleaning modes. This lets you tell the robot vacuum cleaner which area of your home needs to be cleaned with the help of an app or voice command. A stairway mode is beneficial if you have number of furniture. For busy families, a recharge function and resume feature that allows your robot vacuum to continue from where it left off could be very beneficial.
5. iRobot Roomba RX3
The RX3 is a cleaner with more intelligence than you'd imagine from its price. It is a good vacuum cleaner, picking up 55% debris in our tests. (It was only second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with only one pad and a reciprocating movement that cleans better that most mop cleaners for robots that we've tested. It's also extremely self-sufficient, with a full-featured app and a self-emptying base that is washable.
The well-designed iRobot app will guide you through a mapping session that collects data about your floorplan as well as any "no-go" areas you mark on the map. It can be used to create cleaning schedules, or to organize an automatic spot-clean. You can also use it to prioritize the most soiled areas to improve performance. The app also provides access to many features like seasonal suggestions, custom maps, and advanced settings for your cleaning.
Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuums, meaning it can get to corners and underneath furniture better. It is equipped with an impressive 8000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs to remove pet hair. You can also create a spot-cleaner that thoroughly cleans the area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and less expensive alternative to iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive style, much like Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are shaped like cute little eyes. It's good at vacuuming, but it is more susceptible to be caught by low thresholds and is noisier than the other top robot vacuums we've examined. It also has a less user-friendly app and a small base station that isn't able to double as an emptying bin.
