Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots That Vacuum And Mop (Clown-Forum.Com) offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills, stains) in one session without having to swap out devices. They can also save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will have impressive navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has plenty to offer for its relatively affordable price, and it's one of the most simple robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start guide gets you running in no time. It comes with a full dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor solution.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a variety of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly application that lets you select the kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.

For example, you can opt for the robot to clean up the living and kitchen areas but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models can't. The only problem is that the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However looking at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop done, where it is traveling, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.

The docking station features a handy LCD screen that shows the need for maintenance like emptying the debris and washing the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to view all the details of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and automatic vacuum cleaner, is the most up-to-date version. It's not like the model from last year this one has two agitators in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity that enables it to pick up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners may miss.

Like the other two Roborock models I've tried it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes two cameras that can recognize objects, determining if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its path and clean the objects without a pause.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has just three physical buttons that include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin automatically refills.

The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if it's required) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount to wash manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these smart features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. You'll have to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering the performance otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its innovative design lets you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful options available. This powerful automatic vacuum and mop removes dry mess, including pet hair and dust. It also comes with a high-quality mop that leaves floors spotlessly clean, even without a wet pad. The X40 is also very quiet in operation with only occasional bursts during modes changes or self-maintenance.

The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean furniture with curved edges like table and chair legs. The robot is also able to reach under low-profile furnishings which makes it an ideal choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush tilts automatically down when it spots wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that allows the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors through the frequent back-and-forth movement.

In contrast to other robots that are limited to one task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and skip carpeted areas, and reverse the process. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.

The app is simple and easy to use and the X40's clever features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, view floor plans and mapping, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to keep clean and has numerous features which make it a good option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, then refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It will also tell you the moment when the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and notify you of the situation before it spills.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive models available however, it comes with many additional features that distinguish it from. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature on its mops, uses two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles - as well as picking up spills and wet spots.

The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the growth of odours and mould in storage, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen before on other robot mop or vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home cleaner longer.

There's a wealth of settings available which include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or direct buttons on the unit itself. The app is simple to use and offers a variety of options to customize your cleaning routine. It also has a number of features that aren't available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen on the market, with metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list but it's not too heavy. It is solid and well-built. The mopping system is also well designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
