Easy to clean
When you're looking at travel cots or bedside cribs make sure they have a mattress cover that is removable that can be machine-washed. That will help you keep it free of leaky nappies, sick babies and spills. It is also recommended to choose an item that can be easily disassembled so you can clean and sanitise all the corners.
