Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle different floors. Look for models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the best robot cleaner models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive right up to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rug.
Before each mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other models that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station if required.
This robot vacuum with mop combo is easy to set up and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it can be stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good and include a pair of mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently by avoiding pet hairs as well as other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a thick space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and easy to use. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are excellent in removing dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every speck of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your routine of cleaning.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, despite not being able to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also features a smart app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home this really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects dust in a larger bin that means you have to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. The robot cleaner with mop is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to keep out of the app.
